Who We are

ST. JOHN BOYS HOME, INC is a non-profit organization, licensed by the State of California. The Executive Director is a graduate from Cal State East Bay, also holding a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology and Doctorate in Organization Development.
The Executive Director brings over a decade of experience in counseling and managing services for youth from juvenile probation, county social services and the public schools.

 

ADMISSION

All applicants must be referred by Regional Center or Partnering Agency or County Agencies.Applicants must be between 13 and 17 years of age. Every effort will be made to expedite referrals and admissions.

INTAKE

The administrator is responsible for assessment, admission and intake. Upon referral of a consumer from a partnering agency, all information (verbal and written) will be reviewed by the administrator and/or Behaviorist. RCEB will be contacted of a potential referral from another Regional Center before any agreements are made. Through this analysis and evaluation, a decision on the child’s admission will be made.

Our Team

Nicole Dukes

Nicole Dukes has been in education for the past twenty years. Doctoral candidate in Early Childhood Elementary Education -language and literacy and Professor at Clark University and University of Wet Georgia. Ms. Dukes has always had a heart for working with children and now adults. St. John allows Ms. Dukes to stay connected to the community she grew up in because it provides love, care, and stability to some of our most vulnerable youth. St. John seeds are planted in the community and enhances the landscape of the city. Ms. Nicole Dukes was recently appointed to the St. John Board of directors in March 2011.
